I don't know what it's like where you are, but it is hot here! It has been over 100 degrees every day for over a month. There's no end in sight.
I took this picture last night after being out in the 111 degree heat (a new record high, woohoo). My hair hasn't been holding up (as you can see), which makes product testing very difficult. This picture was my first time using CJ CCCC Lite. I showered the night before and when I woke up, my hair was great! Bouncy and curly everywhere. Then this. Bleh.

The worst part is that I can't get my hair to clump like normal because I can't do a cold rinse at the end of my showers. I usually scrunch my rinse-out upside-down under cold water to promote clumps and get rid of frizz. It's been luke-warm for the past month, which is definitely not the same as cold. I never thought I'd miss a cold shower!

What's wrong with it?? I think it's absolutely gorgeous! Love those spirals.
Haha, I don't know what state you're in, but I'm in Oregon and the highest we've had is 83, which is unusual. Usually we have into the 90s in August. Today it was in the 60s and I was in sweatpants and socks, drinking tea. WHAT
But I'm going to Oklahoma for my sister's wedding in a few days, and I hope my hair will hold up in the humidity and heat! If it helps, I think yours looks good, considering the temperature and stuff!
Felicia - Thanks! You're too sweet. To me it looks like my hair melted! I did two PTs so it's perked up a little, but I can't wait until it cools down!
J - 83?! I'm jealous! That's lower than our daily low has been for the past couple of weeks! I'm not too far from there (Texas). There hasn't been much humidity since we're in a drought (they're saying we won't get rain until October!) but it's just been SO hot you almost can't function outside. My hair starts out great but melts by the end of the day. I'm testing out hard-hold gels - Definitely recommend for OK! Good luck!
